The Pets Rock Festival is returning to Jackson this summer, offering live music and pet-friendly activities. The event aims to bring the community together and promote pet adoption.
The Pets Rock Festival is officially returning to Jackson this late August 2024, organizers announced today. The event, which combines live music, pet-focused activities, and community outreach, aims to draw thousands of attendees and promote pet adoption and responsible pet care. This marks the festival’s return after a hiatus last year, and it is expected to be one of the largest pet-friendly events in the region.
According to the festival organizers, the Pets Rock Festival will take place at the Jackson Fairgrounds from August 23 to 25. The event will feature performances by local bands, pet adoption drives in partnership with local shelters, pet costume contests, and educational booths on pet health and safety. Organizers emphasize that the festival remains free to attend and encourages families and pet owners to participate.
Jackson city officials and local businesses have expressed support for the event, citing its potential to boost tourism and community engagement. The festival’s return was confirmed through a press release issued today, with organizers noting that they have secured sponsorships and partnerships to ensure a successful event.
Community and Pet Welfare Benefits of the Festival
The Pets Rock Festival is significant because it promotes community engagement and pet welfare by providing a platform for pet adoption and education. It also offers economic benefits by attracting visitors to Jackson, potentially increasing revenue for local businesses. The event’s focus on responsible pet ownership aligns with ongoing efforts to improve pet care standards in the region.

Previous Editions and Community Support for Pets Rock
The Pets Rock Festival was first held in Jackson in 2019 and quickly became an annual tradition before being paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival has historically drawn hundreds of attendees and has been praised for its family-friendly atmosphere and support for local shelters. The decision to bring it back this year reflects ongoing community interest and support for pet-related initiatives.
“We’re excited to bring Pets Rock back to Jackson and to offer a fun, educational event for families and pet lovers alike. Our goal is to promote responsible pet ownership and help animals find loving homes.”
— Festival Organizer Jane Smith
